Program Description
The board members of VLERA and DC LERA are excited to be co-hosting this virtual Meet & Greet networking event on Zoom for all VLERA, DC LERA, and LERA members, students, and anyone with an interest in meeting others within the Labor and Employment Relations community!
Together, DC LERA and VLERA will also be raffling off prizes for attendees!
The raffle prizes for this event will be:
- (1) Free 1-year membership to National LERA

Introduction/Explanation
- Structure of the event

- We will assign everyone to breakout rooms manually.
- We will have questions for you to use as icebreakers should you wish to use them. They will be posted to the chat as a guide incase you get stuck, but feel free to stray from them if you’d like.
- Before the end of each session in the breakout rooms, you will see a pop-up letting you know it’s time to prepare for a room switch. You’ll then meet another new person(s)!
- (3) 5-minute 1-on-1 sessions in virtual breakout rooms where you’ll each get the chance to meet some new members of the community
- (2) 10-minute sessions with 3-4 members in each room to give people the opportunity to get to know one another in a small group setting..
- If there is an issue in the room, feel free to use the chat to message one of the board members or go into the main session so Brandie or Kimberly can come to the rescue.
- We will assign everyone to breakout rooms manually.
- Last 15 minutes
- Live Raffle with all attendees in the main room
