Program Description

Recent years have changed the world of work on a global scale more quickly than ever before and in ways that we might never have imagined. The COVID-19 pandemic not only upended how work was done but also resulted in many employees rethinking their careers. Combined with other disruptive trends such as the automation and algorithmizing of HRM, we might expect the daily work of HR professionals worldwide to have changed substantially. But what evidence do we have of how organizations across the globe are responding? The CRANET research network ( addresses exactly this question in its regular global survey of HR professionals. This webinar will share the latest insights on how the world of HR is changing, including exploring algorithmic HR, social media in recruiting, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, remote work, and the role of labor unions. Comparisons are drawn over time to identify trends as well as between countries to see what we can learn from other parts of the world.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Identify current trends in HR practice on an international level
  • Compare experiences in HR among and between countries and over time
  • Explore how current issues in HR, such as impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, social media, and automation, are affecting the field

Program is Free of Cost
