OC LERA conducted its 37th Annual Labor and Employment Law Conference on July 17 in Anaheim. The conference offered advocacy skills training, in conjunction with the National Association of Arbitrators, in dealing with substance abuse in the workplace, an update on the NLRB, discussion on independent contractor status, and a look at the future after Janus. The conference was keynoted by FMCS Director Rich Giacolone, and Berkeley professor Erwin Chemerinsky.
