Labor Market Trends:  How Are They Affecting Employment Relations?

Please join us for a presentation and conversation about current labor market trends and how they are affecting employment relations.  Economist Paul Harrington, who is well known for his work on state, regional, and national labor markets will present data lead a discussion on this important topic.  Questions include, among many others: how have current labor trends affected the recruitment and retention of employees?  How has compensation been affected?  What have tight labor markets done to power dynamics at the bargaining table?  What does the future hold for hiring and turnover?
