Speakers
Adam Rhynard, Chair of the Oregon Employment Relations Board.
First appointed by the Governor as a Board Member effective March 15, 2013. He was reappointed to a four-year term effective October 1, 2015, and subsequently was appointed as the Chair effective October 1, 2016. Before being appointed to the ERB, he worked for the Oregon Workers’ Compensation Board. Before that, he practiced extensively in the areas of labor, employment, and campaign finance law, primarily in New York. He received his J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law, and his B.F.A. and M.A. from the University of Arizona.

Shirin Khosravi, Labor Appointee to the Oregon Employment Relations Board.
First appointed by Governor Brown as a Board Member effective February 15, 2022. Before joining the Board, she was the Supervising Attorney for SEIU Local 503, a union representing public service workers and care providers across Oregon. Shirin received her B.A. from Bard College and her J.D. from Lewis and Clark Law School. Prior to moving to Oregon, she worked as a field organizer on various marriage equality campaigns in Maine and New York.
