New York City LERA presents

Are Non-compete Agreements Still Viable?!

The use of noncompete agreements has exploded, resulting in various efforts to restrict their use. The General Counsel of the NLRB has stated that except in limited circumstances such agreements violate the NLRA.  The Federal Trade Commission has recently issued regulations limiting their use, already resulting in at least one lawsuit. The Governor of the State of New York recently vetoed legislation restricting such agreements.  Join NYC LERA, the Honorable Senator Sean Ryan, the Director of NLRB Manhattan, and practitioners as we engage in  a thought-provoking analysis of the current state of the law.  This program will be virtual.
