Membership

Membership dues are $50 for regular members, $10 for students and apprentices, and we also have organizational memberships available.

Meetings

The chapter meets several times a year for dinner, and host programs at various locations. If you have any input into meeting schedule or locations, please contact ny-cap@lerachapter.org. Meetings provide an opportunity to network while exchanging ideas and keeping informed of new trends and developments in labor relations, and employment and labor law.

About LERA

The Labor and Employment Relations Association is a singular organization of professionals interested in industrial relations and employment relations. All LERA chapter members have been granted affiliate status of the national organization, and receive benefits such as national LERA e-Newsletters and access to online LERA publications. LERA was founded in 1947 as the IRRA (Industrial Relations Research Association), but changed our name in 2005.

The Capital Region of New York Chapter of the LERA has been affiliated with national LERA since 2023.
