Membership

Annual membership dues are $35 for regular members, $300 for small organizations (9 or less), $625 for large organizations (10+) and $10 for students and apprentices.

Meetings

The chapter meets several times a year for programs and/or dinners at various locations. If you have any input into the meeting schedule or locations, please contact ny-cap@lerachapter.org. Meetings provide an opportunity to network and stay in touch with colleagues while exchanging ideas and keeping informed of new trends and developments in labor relations, and employment and labor law.

About LERA

The Labor and Employment Relations Association is a singular organization of professionals interested in industrial relations, human resources, labor-management committees, and labor-management partnerships. If you are a professional or an academic in the field of industrial relations and human resources, we invite you to join the National LERA. The National LERA organization provides a network of IR and HR practitioners and academics who share their knowledge and insight through regular LERA publications and at LERA meetings twice a year. LERA was founded in 1947 as the IRRA (Industrial Relations Research Association) and today encompasses more than 5,000 members.

The Capital Region of New York Chapter of the LERA has been affiliated with national LERA since 2023.
