The New Jersey Chapter of the Labor and Employment Relations Association (LERA) is a unique organization of professionals from New Jersey and contingent states who are interested in employment relations and human resource management. The chapter includes members from the management, labor, neutral (including arbitrators and mediators), government, and academic fields.
The New Jersey Chapter holds six dinner meetings a year. NJLERA will hold most of its meetings at Il Castello’s in Woodbridge, or Galloping Hill Golf Club in Kenilworth, where members listen to distinguished speakers and share their knowledge and experience. Most meetings begin at 6 PM. We also partner with Rutgers’ School of Labor and Management Relations and Rutgers LERA for a program each December.
Membership is open to individuals working in the field of LER and costs $49 annually.
The New Jersey Chapter is affiliated with the Labor and Employment Relations Association (formerly the Industrial Relations Research Association), which sponsors national meetings for practitioners and academics and publishes books, conference proceedings, and periodicals that are designed for a wide audience.
Affiliated with National LERA (formerly IRRA) since 1977.
