
Program
We are pleased to feature Arthur Pearlstein, FMCS Director of Arbitration; Beber Helburn, NAA Arbitrator and Mentor; Mickey Brock, Labor Arbitrator and Houston LERA President; and Emily Smith, Executive Director of National LERA. Arthur will provide an overview of the FMCS process and requirements to become an FMCS Labor Arbitrator, the selection process, plus a brief look at Labor Arbitration current issues and the future. Beber will discuss the importance of mentoring, how to obtain a mentor, and the NAA’s diversity efforts. Mickey Brock will describe his journey to become a Labor Arbitrator. Emily Smith will discuss how LERA can be a great resource and networking tool. We will have a brief Greater Houston LERA Chapter business meeting prior to the program (about 10 minutes).
We are applying for Texas Attorney MCLE credits and SHRM Recertification credits.
