Maretta Comfort Toedt, NAA, Houston, TX

Panelists

William E. Hartsfield (NAA), Dallas, TX

Pilar Vaile (NAA), Yuma, CO

Samantha Martinez, Esq., Houston, TX (Management Representative)

Wendell Shepherd, Esq., Elmsford, NY (Union Representative)

Apply lessons learned from video hearings to in-person and hybrid hearings. Make your hearings optimal for grievants, the union, the company, witnesses, advocates, and arbitrators.  This panel of video-experienced advocates and arbitrators from around the country will discuss lessons learned from video hearings.  Topics covered include preparing the grievant and witnesses to testify, credibility determinations, settlement opportunities, things that may trip you up, as well as things to do (e.g., scheduling, subpoenas, courtesies, and etiquette) that will help all hearings go smoothly.
