Join the Washington, D.C. chapter of the Labor and Employment Relations Association (DC LERA) for lunch and a conversation with Kaitlyn Long, Chief Economist, International Brotherhood of Teamsters, who will be speaking about the UPS tentative agreements 2023-28 she helped negotiate. Moderated by past President of LERA and DC LERA Steve Sleigh.

Kaitlyn Long serves as a Chief Economist for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. She leads a team of economists, experts, and analysts to support the Teamsters’ mission to become a bigger, faster, stronger union. In her role, she and her team provided economic and financial expertise and data management for the UPS Teamsters National Master Agreement negotiations. With her help, UPS Teamsters negotiated a successful contract, one that is having ripple effects across union and non-union workplaces.
Registration and Cost
Tickets for this event are $20 for members and $25 for non-members. There are also reduced-price tickets for those who are Early Career, work for Nonprofits or Not-for-profits, or are In Transition – $10 for members and $15 for non-members. Tickets for Students are $5. To register for this event, please submit your booking below.
Your ticket will cover the cost of Lunch, which will be catered by Moby Dick.
Lunch will be from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm. The Conversation will begin at 12:30 pm
