Naima R. Clarke, Esq. is a Supervisory Attorney in Region 9 (Cincinnati, Ohio) of the National Labor Relations Board. She began as a field attorney in 1995, first working in the Board’s Buffalo, New York office (1995 – 1998) and then transferring to Cincinnati. In this role, Ms. Clarke was responsible for investigating and litigating unfair labor practice cases, presiding as a hearing officer in contested representation election cases, and serving as counsel for the NLRB in federal district court proceedings. She now supervises a team of field attorneys and field examiners in performing the same activities. Ms. Clarke has presented at various continuing legal education seminars on behalf of the Regional Office and regularly does outreach on behalf of the Region. She served as the Region’s Equal Employment Opportunity officer from 2000 to 2015. Ms. Clarke was also an adjunct professor at Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law, where she taught Labor Law from 2010 – 2014. She received her BBA from Ohio University (1990) and her JD from The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law (1995).
