Membership

All those interested in workplace issues and challenges, from labor, management, academic, or neutral perspectives, are welcome to join the Atlanta Chapter of the LERA. Meetings

The Atlanta Chapter of LERA meets four times a year.

The award-winning Atlanta Chapter’s program year is September – August. Cost of each luncheon is $35, or you can combine dues and payment for four luncheons for $200. Atlanta LERA Chapter luncheon meetings are held at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center located at 800 Spring Street in Midtown Atlanta. Directions and a map are available at www.GT.edu.

The LERA-Atlanta Chapter and the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS) co-sponsor the annual Georgia Labor Management Conference. Registration and more information for the Georgia Labor Management Conference are available at galmc.org.

About LERA

The Labor and Employment Relations Association is a singular organization of professionals interested in industrial relations and employment relations. All LERA chapter members have been granted affiliate status of the national organization, and receive benefits such as national LERA eNewsletters and access to online LERA publications. LERA was founded in 1947 as the IRRA (Industrial Relations Research Association), but changed our name in 2005.
